Consultation Fees

To our valued patients,

We would like to advise that Somerville Road Medical Centre will be transitioning to mixed billing on 1st March 2023, with payment required at the time of consultation for all new patients.

Existing patients with a valid Medicare Card who have been attending our clinic between 1st January 2018 and 28th February 2023 will continue to be bulk billed for standard consultations only.

No-shows or cancellations less than 2 hours in advance will be subject to a charge of $40.

New patients who join the clinic after 1st March 2023 will be charged a gap fee for all consultations

Dr Francisco Jong MBBS (Melb) FRACGP

Dr Francisco Jong completed his medical degree from Melbourne University and has been providing care to the Hampton Park community for almost 20 years.

He has a strong interest in Chronic Disease Management and is passionate about improving a patient's quality of life rather than just focussing on the disease.

Dr Simon Jong BPharm MBBS FRACGP

Dr Simon Jong graduated from Deakin University (MBBS) in 2013 and completed his internship and clinical training in Victoria.

He completed his GP training in Victoria’s Surf Coast and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

He enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a strong focus on evidence based medicine and chronic diseases.
